Flippio is an interactive educational platform designed to help students learn introductory Mandarin Chinese and prepare for the HSK 1 (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) examination. We provide study tools including digital flashcards, listening and speech exercises, reading comprehension passages, and mock exam simulations.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

Flippio uses HSK as a descriptive study-level label. The site is an independent learning project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any examination authority; its exercises are not official test materials.

When using Flippio, you agree not to:

Use automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or crawlers to extract vocabulary databases, audio files, or exam questions without prior written authorization.
Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or impair the security or functionality of the website.
Repackage, sell, or commercially distribute Flippio's study tools or curated datasets.
Circumvent or tamper with any advertising, telemetry, or analytics systems deployed on the site.

6. User Progress & Local Storage

Flippio saves study streaks, card mastery ratings, practice records, and learning preferences locally in your web browser's localStorage. Clearing your browser data or switching devices may remove this locally saved information.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Flippio and all educational materials are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While we strive for rigorous linguistic accuracy:

We do not guarantee that using Flippio will ensure a passing grade on any official examination.
Browser-based speech recognition and text-to-speech features rely on third-party device capabilities and may vary in precision.
We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Flippio project maintainer shall not be liable for damages arising out of your access to, use of, or inability to use the site.
